Reading Nook: Set up a cozy corner with cushions, soft toys, and a selection of poetry books. Encourage children to explore the books during free play time.
Poetry Props: Include puppets, props, and costumes related to the poems to encourage imaginative play and storytelling.
Acrostic Poems: Help children create acrostic poems using their names or a favorite word. Guide them to come up with words or phrases that start with each letter.
Group Poems: Create a group poem where each child contributes a line. This can be a fun collaborative activity that results in a unique piece of poetry.
