Fundamental British Values And Prevent Training Video
This training video is provided by Learn and Inspire covering Fundamental British Values and Prevent Duty. It is around 1 hour long and can be watched in your own time.
Fundamental British Values:
Introduced by the government, the Fundamental British Values are a set of principles aimed at supporting the development of a strong, safe, and cohesive society.
Within the Early Years settings, these values are instilled in children from a young age through various educational activities and the overall ethos of the setting.
Prevent Duty:
The “Prevent” strategy is part of the UK’s counter-terrorism strategy known as CONTEST.
Within the Early Years, ‘Prevent Duty’ requires educators and childcare providers to have the awareness to identify children who may be at risk of being drawn into terrorism or extremist ideologies and to challenge extremist ideas.

Phonics Phase 1 planning
This is great we have printed it out and we use daily for the Nursery children for a short Phonics activity. It has saved me loads of time and is really well thought out and each activity is clearly explained so the staff know what to do. Each time they teach Phonics they are becoming more confident with presenting.
