Reception / Nursery Mixed Physical Development Medium Term Planning – Rolling Plan 2nd Year
This in depth is medium term planning for Reception and Nursery for Expressive Arts & Design for one year.
This is an alternative to our original Reception/Nursery mixed planning so that it can be used in a second year without repeating topics/interests.
It is split into each half term and includes useful information such as texts/resources, objectives, cross curricular links, vocabulary, key questions, focus tasks and independent tasks.
This planning will ensure you fully cover every aspect of the EYFS but also allows flexibility in response to children’s further lines of enquiry. Useful for collaborating with other members of your team and SLT.
Through medium-term planning, you can map out when and how to assess children’s learning and development. This helps in tracking progress, identifying any learning gaps, and adjusting teaching strategies if needed.
This medium term planning can be used as part of a 2-year rolling programme with the current Mixed Nursery and Reception planning.

This is great we have printed it out and we use daily for the Nursery children for a short Phonics activity.
